We often mistake freedom for the absence of limits. As if openness alone could hold us.
Martin suggests the opposite.
Here, constraint is deliberately chose. A lattice. A field of repetition.
The grid does not restrict the work. It IS the work.
Within it's boundaries, stillness becomes possible. So does depth. So does attention.
And within this stillness, everything is held.
This is constraint as structure. Not imposed but accepted. Not a wall but a frame.
A terrain we return to again and again, to find what appears only when we stay.
